Who, television has probably seen several 30-second PSAs on the transition from analog to all digital broadcast television next February watches.

Do not think you have to hurry and buy a nice new digital television, though. You still have the ability to use your old TV when the signal comes from cable TV providers.
If you watch for free over-the-air TV broadcasts with rabbit ears or an outside antenna, you must make an intermediate step to be able to see the digital transmission after 17 February 2009.
You need a digital converter box that will allow you buyConvert the new digital signals into an analog feed for your set. Digital converters are readily available from Big Box electronics store or you can order via the Internet and delivered to your home.
You should be able to a converter that does not find your needs for under $ 50.
